We are a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team looking for a detail-oriented PCB Librarian to administer our ECAD library. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a company-wide database of schematic symbol and footprint libraries to be used for all layout projects. Your contributions will directly impact all of Blue’s current and future space missions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create/maintain an ECAD library of schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D models.

  • Validate library parts for accuracy and compliance with company standards.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and PCB vendors.

  • Provide user support of the tools and processes.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience creating/maintaining an ECAD library.

  • Basic understanding of PCB manufacturing processes.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.

Desired:

  • Experience with Cadence or Altium CAD software.

  • Experience creating/modifying 3D models (Creo preferred).

  • Knowledge and application of IPC PCB design standards.

  • Associates Degree in electronics field or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience using a PLM system, Windchill preferred.

  • Experience writing scripts to automate routine tasks associated with ECAD applications, databases, and libraries.

Paid Time Off:  Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
