We are on the hunt for a Senior Analyst on our Satellite team at our  Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue office.

Summary:

Satellite Systems: As the leading global independent commercial supplier of antennas, payloads, and electronics for communication and radar satellites, our team has successfully contributed to hundreds of missions in the past 60 years. With an extensive heritage in a wide range of solutions delivered to customers globally, our Satellite Systems team continues to grow and evolve on the ground and in the stars.

Role:

To develop and maintain a contractual program performance measurement baseline to ensure that timely and accurate cost and schedule analysis is performed and detailed corrective actions are taken when necessary.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • In conjunction with Program and Product Line Managers, plans the contractual effort in accordance with the work breakdown structure.
  • Provides detailed cost and schedule analysis and summarizations of variances to the program performance baseline tin order to identify program areas where corrective action is required.
  • Provides cost and schedule inputs into program/divisional level reports to meet reporting requirements.
  • Provides program forecasts to operations and finance for man loading and revenue projection requirements.
  • Provides contractual administrative support to Business Administrators.
  • Developing and maintaining a program performance measurement baseline within MDA PMCS guidelines. An accurate baseline is fundamental in performance analysis. This is accomplished by maintaining detailed documentation of scope changes and ensuring timely implementation of these scope changes within the performance measurement baseline.
  • A combination of other relevant experience/education will be considered

 Minimal Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) with 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Strong planning and scheduling abilities.
  • Strong cost accounting abilities.
  • PC skills and the ability to deal with detailed documentation.
  • Basic understanding of contract law.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate PMCS requirements to the program team. Some presenting skills required.

Comments/Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
