Job Description:
As a DevSecOps Engineer at Omitron, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and stability of our infrastructure, applications, and services. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Your experience with Kubernetes, and cloud services (VMware cloud foundations, AWS, and Azure) will enable you to contribute significantly to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments.
Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user and group account creation and management.
Administer and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP services.
Perform PC/server hardware troubleshooting.
Assist with basic networking tasks, including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting.
Apply basic cyber security knowledge to ensure system integrity and security.
Provide exceptional customer support to both local and remote users.

Required Qualifications:

Active Security+ certification.
Experience with VMware vSphere administration and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of user and group account creation and management.
Experience with DNS and DHCP administration and troubleshooting.
Ability to troubleshoot PC/server hardware issues.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, connectivity troubleshooting, etc.).
Basic knowledge of cyber security principles.
Experience providing customer support, both local and remote.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
