Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/ Sr Principal Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer.  This position is located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and supports the Sentinel program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. 

What You’ll Get To Do: 

As a Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer you will work across multiple Advanced Programs teams to create a database of modeling tools that will be used to conduct vehicle level trade studies and design decisions.

Job Qualifications

You’ll Bring These Qualifications: 

• Principal Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics from an accredited university with Minimum 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master's; or 0 years with a PhD.
• Sr. Principal Systems Modeling Simulation Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics from an accredited university with Minimum 9 years of related experience; 7 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a PhD.

• Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret security clearance with investigation/adjudicated within the last 6 years.
• Minimum 3 yrs requirements development/derivation experience.
• Minimum 3 yrs MBSE tools experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: 

• Experience using CFD and other Aerothermal modeling and simulation tools.
• Participate in analysis for high-level architecture trade studies as well as low-level hardware selection trade studies.
• Participate in technical planning, verification and validation development, cost and risk considerations, and requirements analyses for integrated systems.

Salary Range: $92,600.00 - $139,000.00Salary Range 2: $114,900.00 - $172,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
