Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking an associate or experienced Materials Management Analyst, reporting to the Materials Management Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada office. The Material Management Analyst will be responsible for maintaining production schedules, assists in incorporating change and planning decisions.
As a Materials Management Analyst you will analyze material requirements in SAP / CAMS / ECC and balance schedules in the production plan. You will also assist in releasing and maintaining orders, coordinate with internal customers and cross functional groups and assist in managing inventory and materials management processes. Appling knowledge of processes associated with regulating/distribution of parts through the entire manufacturing cycle to the delivery of finished products is another aspect of the role.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinates and schedules on time delivery of complex parts, commodities following established procedures.
Performs audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.
Reconciles discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain. Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients.
Coordinates the flow of materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients.
Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns.
Coordinates with required organizations to resolve problems affecting the supply chain.
Releases order to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate manufacture of products.
Planning/scheduling for aftermarket and 2nd issue requirements (POA/AOG, spares).
Updating daily metrics (Site shortages/Tier 1 board).
Internal customer communications and system updates.
Reviews and analyzes spare parts requirements.
Coordinates and supports process improvements.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Assists in maintaining schedules for products.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
2+ years of experience in material management and/or supply chain analysis
Experience performing scheduling in a production environment utilizing a Manufacture Resource Planning (MRP) system
Experience with multi-layer bill of material, and complex schedules
Experience with SAP or similar scheduling software
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
5+ years of experience in material management and/or supply chain analysis
Experience working in aerospace and/or manufacturing environment
Experience with maintaining Manufacturing production schedules
Completion of or enrollment in the Production and Inventory Management Certificate Program (APICS, CPIM) or Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Certificate
Thorough understanding of Just in Time (JIT) principles and Material Resource Planning (MRP)
Excellent collaboration skills to work amongst cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style
Typical Education and Experience:
Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
