This position can be remote.

The Maxar Cybersecurity team is seeking a Threat Intelligence Manager to build out and maintain a threat intelligence program/managed threat response team for a large-scale environment. The Threat Intelligence Manager will play a critical role in leading the team in detecting, analyzing, and neutralizing cyber threats before they impact our environments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity Leadership to build out Maxar’s Threat Intelligence program.

  • Investigate and analyze logs and security-related events using cybersecurity toolsets.

  • Identify and respond to cyber threats occurring within Maxar environments.

  • Write and compile documentation for threat research to be compiled into briefs.

  • Communicate findings to technical and executive teams.

  • Follow up with Maxar teams through issue resolution and provide recommendations to minimize risk.

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and threat response teams and provide Tier 3 support when needed.

  • Research emerging Indicators of Compromise (IoCs), exploits, and vulnerabilities to enhance protection for our clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • 8+ years' experience in a Cybersecurity related role with an experience in threat intelligence gathering and analysis.

  • 3+ years of management or lead experience

  • Working knowledge of Information Security best practices, policies, standards, and baselines, including industry standards and guidelines from NIST, CIS, and OWASP.

  • Bachelor of Science is preferred, with a focus on information security or related disciplines

  • Must posses a current IT Security Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CEH, or other equivalent certifications.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Crowdstrike modules.

  • Experience with OSINT and other intelligence gathering toolsets.

  • Technical working experience/knowledge of operating systems, databases, web applications, mobile devices, middleware, and other computing devices/software components.

  • Knowledge and experience related to the space industry and it’s technology stack.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$119,000.00 - $199,000.00 annually.


 

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
