This position will be located at our Promontory, Utah facilities.
Role description & Responsibilities:
The Associate Research Scientist has the responsibility to work as a member of the Analytical Testing Department performing analytical chemistry R&D and associated technical support of manufacturing operations.
Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of and some experience in chemical analysis techniques
·Research and problem solving capability in an R&D and/or production support organization
Experience Preferred:
Demonstrated experience with and working knowledge of chemical analysis methods involving titration, spectroscopic analysis, and environmental analysis methods
Experience with analytical instrumentation
Experience with analytical data analysis
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Skills & Qualifications:
·Demonstrated independent work skills
·Demonstrated innovation and/or problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture.
Education/Certifications
·B.S. degree in Chemistry or similar discipline
Position can be filled one level higher, BS and 2 years’ experience or 0 years with a MS
