A Senior R&D Scientist:

• Leads the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of technology research initiatives at a senior level.
• Undertakes comprehensive exploration into the viability of integrating scientific principles and theories into potential innovations and product developments.
• Orchestrates the implementation of applied research projects.
• Maintains an extensive grasp of cutting-edge principles, theories, and methodologies, actively contributing to the advancement of scientific discovery.

Minimum Requirements

• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance w/CI Polygraph.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
• Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Must be a highly motivated, self-driven team player who understands how to manage expectations, communicate clearly and timely, and help drive mission initiatives forward. 
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication, coordination and collaboration, time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Typically necessitates a minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years coupled with a Master's degree; or a Ph.D. with no prior experience; or commensurate professional background.
• Experience working on-site at a customer location, especially DoD or IC.
• Ability to communicate highly technical analyses at a level comprehensible to non-technical audiences and senior-level government representatives.
• Military or defense-related experience and an understanding of operational planning and functional defeat of hard targets.
• A seasoned professional with substantial expertise, adept at resolving complex issues through innovative approaches within their specialized domain.
• Engages with multifaceted challenges, leveraging analytical prowess to assess various factors and devise effective solutions.
• Exhibits discerning judgment in selecting methodologies and techniques for achieving desired outcomes.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$131,000.00 - $219,000.00 annually.
