Overview

Location: Prague or GSMC (Spain).
Working hours: full time, 40h/week
Requirement: EU citizenship

For new services in the Galileo and EGNOS EU Space Programmes we are seeking dynamic and experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and field deployment engineers who are passionate about working at the forefront of the space sector.

Security:
In line with security requirements, the candidate must hold a European citizenship. Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore, in view of the nature of the work, all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) management concepts, with focus on support to operational sites
  • Verify the implementation of the Galileo/EGNOS Ground Segment ILS services requirements baseline
  • Analyze and support the management of export control, taxes and customs aspects related to the deployment of EU assets out of EU (e.g. EGNOS RIMS stations)
  • Support the Packaging, Health, Safety and Transport aspects of EU equipment field deployment
  • Supervise the implementation of the activities at the ILS centre
  • Participate in the definition of the asset management strategy, and review of the asset deployment plan and inventory in relation to sites deployment.

Your profile

  • A university degree in Engineering (Aerospace, System, Electrical), or a related technical field.
  • Experience in Logistic activities for Space Missions
  • Willingness to travel several days per month
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages would be preferred
