What do we do?

ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Global People Operations Specialist to join our Global People Operations team in Warsaw, Poland. As a Global People Operations Specialist you will have a global view on our people processes and practices and a great opportunity to work with local country operations specialists to ensure efficient, engaging and compliant people practices across the countries ICEYE is operating in. This role requires the ability to understand both the big picture and detailed view on employer relations and benefits. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • You will provide administrative support and guidance to our employees according to our global people processes to ensure compliant ways of working in the countries we operate. On this you will have the support of our global People and Culture team and local external service providers network.
  • Manage outsourced HR Operations vendors to ensure compliant, efficient and engaging ways of organizing people and culture services at ICEYE.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related inquiries, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave management.
  • Take care of benefits administration according to our current benefits portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline HR processes, implement automation solutions, and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate personnel data in our HRIS systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and analysis, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Be responsible for employment contract management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven 2-4 years experience in HR operations, with a focus on people process management and compliance.
  • Practical knowledge of at least one of the following countries’ labor law, HR regulations, and local HR practices: Poland, UK, Finland, Spain, or USA. Practical knowledge of labor law, regulations and local HR practices in more than one of the above countries is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
  • Influencing skills and cultural awareness.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Vendor management and strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in the tech industry or a similar fast-paced environment is considered an advantage.
