Description

You might know that our Mission is to solve our customers’ most challenging problems across Space, Aeronautics and Mission critical systems to help safeguard Australia’s future. What makes us really different, though, is that as part of one of the World’s largest Defence organisations, we have access to capabilities and technology most can only imagine. And, here in Australia, we’re growing so there are plenty of opportunities especially for those just starting out in their careers and looking for experience in a friendly, supportive and challenging environment. Here, everyone contributes and everyone matters!

Your Role:
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of optimising efficiency and productivity. Your responsibilities will encompass developing production schedules, collaborating closely with Base Maintenance Leads, Technical Specialists, and Logistic Planners. You'll harness the power of production data analysis to identify areas for improvement and spearhead solutions. Your knack for process improvement will be invaluable as you align planning processes with contractual obligations, including creating and monitoring Work Instructions. Additionally, you'll manage the rescheduling of future maintenance work, both deferred and emergent, to prevent any adverse impact on other ongoing maintenance tasks.

About You:
Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine passion for the aerospace and defence industry. Your key accountability will revolve around executing the planning process, ensuring timely aircraft maintenance event schedules to meet Fleet Management requirements.

Through meticulous coordination and scheduling, you'll play a crucial role in making sure the scope remains achievable within the approved Fleet Plan. Your ability to engage with stakeholders across the Enterprise will be pivotal in addressing engineering and logistical requirements. During base maintenance events, you'll closely track tasks to ensure milestones are successfully reached.

To thrive in this role, you'll need to be eligible and capable of obtaining a Defence Security Clearance (baseline). Previous experience within a base maintenance environment is essential and familiarity with DASR P145 organisation requirements will set you apart. If you have CAMM2 Data Manager experience, that's a definite plus.

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to contribute to our growth and make a lasting impact. If you're excited about the prospect of being a key player in aerospace and defence, apply now and let's explore the possibilities together!

What we Offer:
Whatever your role, life stage or background, you can shape your career here in your way with highly challenging work, great colleagues and career development, plus a range of flexible benefits and working patterns.

  • Professional Development – further education, leadership development, professional industry memberships and unlimited access to a range of online training
  • Purchased annual leave
  • Salary packaging including novated car leases
  • Generous paid parental leave
  • Volunteer Leave
  • Health & Wellbeing program
  • Employee Assistance Program

Everyone Matters:
Doing the Right Thing and Sharing Success are two values underpinning how we behave at Northrop Grumman. Here, everyone matters and we proudly encourage individuals from all backgrounds and all abilities to apply to join our diverse and inclusive workforce. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are welcome and encouraged to apply.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. You will also need to satisfy police checks and employment screening verification.
