Rocket Lab’s People & Culture team is responsible for looking after our most valuable asset: our people. WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

The mission, should you choose to accept it, is to source and select the best talent possible. Part of the People & Culture department, you will support our Recruitment team with providing specialist recruitment support and talent pipeline. We’re looking for an experienced administrator with a knack for picking up things really quick and loves to interact with people from all walks of life. We’re a business full of analytical and inquisitive minds, so you will need great commercial acumen and communication skills to influence outcomes. Your commerciality and creativity will enable you to think outside the box to provide pragmatic, sustainable and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership over candidate contract generation
  • Taking ownership of the immigration process for both existing employees and incoming employees, and liaising with Immigration New Zealand where required
  • Creating and maintaining SOP's, reports, internal wikis, and training for the TA team and other stakeholders
  • Candidate sourcing and management
  • Forging close working relationships with members of TA, HR, Finance, and other relevant departments to ensure candidate care
  • Process improvement identification and implementation
  • General administrative duties to assist with talent acquisition efforts 

  
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years’ administration experience
  • Experience using Workday and/or Greenhouse, or a relevant ATS/HRIS system
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting demands in a busy environment to achieve ambitious deadlines
  • Is proactive and takes initiative
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and change
  • Remains calm under pressure

THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:

  • Recruiting admin experience in technical/engineering /manufacturing industry
  • Tertiary HR qualification or equivalent preferred
  • Working understanding of the New Zealand Immigration process

This role is based on site in Mount Wellington, Auckland.
