Role:
The CADM Analyst I occupation requires that all configured documents be recorded into the product lifecycle management database (PLM) and manipulated according to both the project contractual requirements and the organizational policies and processes. They are required to provide guidance to the projects regarding basic configuration management practices and ensure that these principles are respected. Support and train users on basic CADM related processes.
Tasks:
- Create, release and maintain configured records in the product lifecycle management database in accordance with the company configuration control management processes. Configured records/documents included, bill of materials, documents, drawings, Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Deviation Implementation Notices (DIN), Items, electronic files, etc.
- PLM proficient, perform BOM updates, transfers to ERP, linking operations and coordinate related debugging when required.

Review and approve technical documents/items and data packages to ensure that the configuration requirements are being respected.
- Coordinate inputs from multiple sources, prioritize, follow up, resolve or escalate blocking issues to more senior grades in support of program milestones and aggressive schedules.
- Define and generate the project Configuration Management Notice (CMN) with support from more senior grades, based on project specific requirements.
- Establish and maintain baseline document as required by the projects.
- Identify non-standard CM situations to determine if a process deviation may be appropriate. Evaluate stakeholder impact with the support of more senior grades and ensure resolution

Support CDRL/SDRL/CIDL activities (as required by the project).

Submitting /Receiving documents to/from customer/subcontractors as per project distribution (project specific).

Securely transfer data using various file transfer tools & sites.

Collaborate with SMEs wrt any IP, Export or Security requirements prior to delivery
- Support Quality Management System Documentation.

Compile all documentation related to an End Item Data Package (EIDP) in support of Projects.
- Process superseded and/or obsolete documents.

Help maintain the project list in the product lifecycle management database.
- Prepare and maintain customized project reports (as required by the project).
- Support project closure activities.

Participate in business and departmental improvement initiatives. Support basic questions from CADM users (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Perform Library activities such as document circulation, acquisitions, cataloguing, and guiding users with respect to various subscription and e-book platforms, etc.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with configuration management standards & procedures or other transferable work experience.
Software Knowledge:
- A product lifecycle management system or other equivalent Business Applications
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Acrobat or Nitro
- Visio or Draw.io
- Any Email system
- Seen as an Asset: SharePoint, Confluence, SQL, Excel Macros, Teams, Camtasia, Zoom, reading and/or programming code
Skills:
- At ease in a manufacturing and technical environment
- At ease using complex database apps, workflows and multiple collaborative tools

Education:
CEGEP Diploma (DEC) or equivalent.
Experience:
0 to 2 years’ experience in configuration document management, BOM Management or equivalent/transferable experience related to the above job description.
Linguistic Level:
Bilingual, French and English, spoken and written.

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
