Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Military Trainer – Multidomain Operations Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
The Multidomain Operations Analyst shall provide analysis of the relative effectiveness of training audience and WCOPFOR multidomain operations in support of OC/T coaching, After Action Review (AAR) production, and development of Key Observations. Analysis must link tactical actions of both training audiences and WCOPFOR, nested with scripted operational and strategic level effects, occurring within simulation or with the implementation of analog rules and workarounds and other ECG adjudications. The analysis must provide OC/Ts, COGs, and training audiences an assessment of how multidomain operations in WFXs or other exercises linked lethal and nonlethal effects across all domains and dimensions in attempt to systematically defeat WCOPFOR. Analysis must link objective facts, simulation feedback, operational statistics to articulate the linear cause and effect degeneration of tactical systems, and then articulate the resulting impact on cohesion, ability to mass combat power, and impacts in the human and information dimensions expressed by altered decision-making. Such assessments would focus both at critical events within exercises, as well as provide an assessment of the effectiveness of a training audience implementing their commanding general’s operational art. Systems used will be the ARCHER system and V3D.
Basic Qualifications:
- Intermediate Level Education (MEL4) graduate.
- Former field grade officer. Can be a senior Warrant Officer, (W-4/5) or Sergeant Major (E-9).
- Successfully served in a key developmental position at Brigade/Division level (i.e., Executive Officer, S3/G3, Operations Sergeant Major, etc.). Demonstrated tactical and technical proficiency in operational environments characterized as being contested across all domains.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint software.
- Must be familiar with all new and current Army and Joint regulations and publications applicable to this position prior to employment.
- U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret security clearance required to start.
- Must be able to travel in the United States and overseas to support simulation-based Army training exercises as needed (up to 25% of the time)
- Must be able to work on-site at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly desirable to be retired Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) equivalent or above.
- Highly desirable to have advanced military education (SAMS or sister service equivalent) and specialized education in multidomain or all-domain operations (ex. USAF All Domain Operational Strategist elective in ACSC).
- Highly desirable to have served on a Joint Task Force operational or planning staff, or Division/Corps level staff positions in a Multidomain focus area.
- Served in a Multidomain Task Force or similar sister service organization.
- Demonstrates a high understanding of capabilities and limitations of the joint force; comfortable visualizing and describing air, naval, space, cyber, and information operations and their interrelation in the joint fight.
- Able to work closely with active-duty planners from all services and US Army technical experts in space, cyber, and special technical operations.
- U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Top Secret security clearance, able to be read on to TS/SCI programs.
