Details:

We’re on the hunt for a Project Management & Finance focused Engineering Student for our Mission Operations Department at our Brampton office. This position is for the Spring 2024 term for a minimum of 12 months starting in June/July 2024. Please submit your application and transcript when applying. 

Overall the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date. This role reports to the program director and provides general support to the rest of the engineering team. 

 

Responsibilities:

The Engineering Students will help on a commercial program with engineering duties which could include:

  • Support the schedule and timeline of the project and tasks
  • Manage the budget and provide routine updates/reports through the internal tracking/expense system
  • Act as a liaison between the teams involved and provide support
  • Implement tools and resources to assist with project support
  • Manage assigned tasks to meet resource, time, and quality requirements

 

Qualifications:

Interested candidates should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Systems, Engineering Physics, or Computer Engineering and/or Applied Mathematics, Science or Physics. It is preferred if the candidate has finance knowledge or previous experience in finance.

  • Experience and strong interest in project management and finance
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • A strong ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as a member of a team is required.
  • Experience with team leadership, task estimating and monitoring.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills are essential to this position.

 

Comments/Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
