Inventory/Shop Summer Intern

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory/Shop Runner. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure efficient operations by managing inventory levels working under the supervision of the Facilities & Inventory team. 

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
    • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to place orders and track deliveries.
    • Keep detailed records of inventory movements and transactions.
  2. Order Fulfillment:
    • Receive and process incoming orders.
    • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
    • Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
    • Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely delivery.
  3. Shop Maintenance:
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop area.
    • Assist in restocking shelves and arranging displays.
    • Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues.
  4. Communication:
    • Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues
    • Address any inquiries or concerns regarding inventory or orders.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or working towards one, or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
