Your Mission

You would be working as IT system administrator in our company in our site in Andoya, Norway. Your main tasks will be supporting users and taking care of our IT infrastructure.

More specifically, you will:

  • Ensure reliable and secure operations of the IT environment
  • Identify process issues and implement smarter and better support for them
  • Organize yourself to solve problems reliably and on time
  • Be the friendly face of IT technology towards our people
  • Collaborate closely with our office management, HR, and other departments

Who you are and what you have

  • Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows/Linux Servers
  • Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VMware vSphere and ESXi hosts
  • Working knowledge of enterprise storage platforms (SAN, NAS) and protocols (NFS, Fiber Channel, iSCSI, etc.)
  • with IT systems, networks, and related technologies
  • Extensive experience with AD, GPO, DNS, AD CS, File share and print management
  • Experience in configuration and Troubleshoot Windows Clients and Servers
  • Performed system maintenance on servers as needed
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining third party software on Windows/Linux servers
  • Resolve trouble tickets escalated by the help desk team
  • Ability to effectively collaborate on multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English
  • Driver's License

Nice to Have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT systems administration
  • VMware VCP certification
  • Windows Server 2016 MCSA certification
  • Basic German knowledge
