EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Network - Intern in our Hughes Network Division. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Work with senior Engineers on projects supporting Enterprise customers and systems
• Assist in scripting and debugging programs
• Testing to Improve quality and functionality of existing systems
• Coordinate with users to understand their requirements, document processes and generate reports
• Exposure to data analytics, networking concepts, network performance metrics, and modern scalable distributed systems

Basic Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3.0 GPA or above
• 60 credits or more by start of internship, June 2024

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate knowledge of Python language
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Effective oral and written communication skills
