ABOUT FIREFLY AEROSPACE

SUMMARY

Come and learn Supply Chain from Supplier Engagement to Logistics. This internship will expose you to all facets of Supply Chain. You will work on projects, systems, inventory, logistics, warehouse, purchasing and more. Come be part of sourcing for Rockets for the summer.

AREAS OF FOCUS

Supply Chain

  • Supplier engagement and management, Policies and procedures, KPI/Measurements, ERP/MR, Corrective Action, and Negotiations

Purchasing

  • Demand Management, Quoting and negotiating, Purchasing, Systems, and Exception reporting

Warehouse/Inventory

  • Shipping/Receiving, Incoming inspection/Quality, Picking/Kitting, Material movement, and Cycle Counting

Logistics

  • Scheduling transportation and Communication/status

Projects

  • Inventory projects, Supplier Management data, and Inbound shipments

Other

  • Communication – Updates/status, End of engagement presentation, Lean, and Leading a team

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Must be currently enrolled in either a BS or MS program (or a recent graduate) at an accredited four-year university or college.
  • Willing to work in a hands-on, constantly evolving environment
  • Detail orientated, managing multiple priorities while maintaining focus towards a common goal
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.

  • ERP/MRP system Knowledge
  • ECN/ECO Knowledge
