Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Contracts Order Administrator 3 or 4 to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Space Security Contracts team. This position can be located in Dulles, VA or Gilbert, AZ, and offers unique flexibility while supporting the Contracts team.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Contract Order Administrator will include the following:
- Enter data related to incoming customer contracts for commercial, government, domestic and international customers into applicable business systems using defined computer software.
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
- Validate data with applicable customer purchase documents and internal policies, procedures and business system requirements for completeness and accuracy.
- Investigate questionable data and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Notify appropriate departments of any new or updated data.
- Maintain audit trails.
- Perform a variety of activities in support of the functional areas of Business Management in furtherance of their goals and initiatives.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This position may be filled as a Contracts Order Administrator 3 or 4 based on the qualifications outlined below:
Basic Qualifications for Contracts Administrator 3:
- High School degree with 4 years additional education or work experience.
Basic Qualifications for Contracts Administrator 4:
- High School degree with 6 years additional education or work experience.
Basic Qualifications for Both 3 and 4:
- Basic experience with government contracting.
- Must have excel experience with ability to understand macros and use basic formulas
- Working knowledge of SAP or other Enterprise Resource System.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some experience working with SAP or other Enterprise Resource System
- Experience with Costpoint
- Experience with Contract Managing Systems
- Experience with financial reporting
- Associates or Bachelor's degree with four additional years of work experience.
