The Space Security Division within Lockheed Martin Space’s Mission Solutions business area is seeking a talented and dedicated Systems Engineer-IT to become a member of an Agile team focused on IT Infrastructure (Systems Administration, Networking, & Hardware) in the Foxtrot Program Area.

• Using scripts to automate server administration and deployment
• Complete system patching

• Demonstrate your great work ethic, communication skills, creativity and problem-solving skills to make a lasting difference.


This is a level 2, early career role where successful Applicants will:
  • Typically possess a minimum of 2 years of professional experience having received a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, or additional experience/combined education in lieu of degree


  • Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance prior to start and be willing to provide consent / submit for a Polygraph Examination associated with required security clearance listed in the Basic Qualifications.

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Windows or Linux System Administration experience
    • Security+ or CISSP certification
    • Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance prior to start and be willing to provide consent / submit for a Polygraph Examination associated with required security clearance
    Desired Skills:
    • Active Directory
    • System Center (SCCM, DPM, SCOM) for patching, deployments, backups, and monitoring
    • Ansible and/or Powershell scripting
    • Gitlab Configuration Management
    • Hyper-V, AWS, NetApp storage
    • Network Equipment configuration
    • Linux System Administration
    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
    Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
