Dawn Aerospace is looking for a highly motivated, proactive and charismatic Office Assistant who thrives on innovation and embraces challenges. This is a part-time role, 25 hours per week, with mutually agreed upon flexibility around the hours worked, with a potential for expanded responsibilities in the future. Join us in shaping the future of aerospace technology and unleashing your full potential!


What you will do:

  • Provide support to the Executive Administrative Manager and broader team
  • Reception duties, assisting with Visitor Management
  • Assist in coordinating internal events, IT related matters, merchandise and staff travel
  • Management of vehicle administration/maintenance
  • Management of logistics, including incoming and outgoing mail/domestic courier collections and deliveries
  • Regular management and maintenance of office equipment
  • Scanning and filing as required
  • Provide administrative cover if other team members are on leave
  • Maintain facilities, including waste management and liaising with Contractors and the building Landlord
  • Procurement of general office supplies and closely monitoring their stock levels to ensure they are well-stocked and remain within budget constraints.
  • Generally assisting with ad-hoc tasks and administrative work

Requirements

The skills We’d like you to have:

  • Ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • Previous administration experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work with minimal oversight or support
  • Full proficiency with MS Office tools
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Ability to pick up new systems
  • Ability to maintain a strict level of discretion
  • Problem solving skills (but know when to escalate)
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Flexible and adaptable
