Job description

To support the growth of a global space startup, the Finance Associate plays a crucial role in devising and executing financial strategies such as fundraising, regulatory compliance and timely disclosures. The role will play a vital role in strategizing and making investment decisions necessary for the business's growth. A deep understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks is required. Additionally, effective collaboration with other departments and communication with stakeholders will be crucial. 
 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Support the formulation and execution of fundraising strategies, including loans and investments. 
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and timely disclosures, maintaining transparency and reliability through involvement in the disclosure process and document creation. 
  • Manage financial processes such as budgeting, cash flow management, and financial data analysis to contribute to optimal management decision-making and regularly report financial status to the management. 
  • Support the evaluation and management of financial risks associated with company growth, and the development and execution of strategies to minimize risks. 
  • Collaborate with team members to support efforts to streamline and automate financial processes. 
  • Communicate with investors to meet their requirements. 

 

Essential Skills 

 

  • 3+ years of practical experience in finance, accounting, or related fields. 
  • Excellent English communication skills required for a global environment. 
  • Proficiency in numbers and strong analytical skills. 
  • Honest and humble with an emphasis on teamwork. 
  • Ability to multitask and adapt flexibly to problem-solving. 
  • Resilience to work efficiently and effectively under pressure. 
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or related fields is desirable. 

 

Desirable skills 

 

  • Experience working for a global organization. 
  • Experience in a startup environment is preferred. 

 

Working Conditions/Location: 

 

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week. 
  • While office work is the standard (at least 3 days a week), remote work flexibility is available.
