As a Deal Desk Manager, youโll help drive deals through our processes by balancing speed and efficiency with our sellers and compliance with our legal and compliance teams. As a middle person between these teams youโll be working with leaders and reps alike to further develop and improve our processes to ensure new rules and regulations are adhered to while also focusing on automation to ensure fast turn around times for the deal cycle. You will own the improvement of the Maxar CPQ system while ensuring quotes are within acceptable margin and discounts structure to make the Maxar sales to successful.
What you will do:
The Deal Desk Manager is a key player in the development of CPQ improvements, approval flows and increasing sales velocity.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Sales organization and develop best practices and proven deal structures to maximize value and efficiently scale the business
Partners with the Sales team to accelerate quoting process through operational efficiencies, training calls
Work cross-functionally with various Maxar teams such as Legal, Finance, Sales, and C-suite on a day-to-day basis to ensure quotes are adhering to Maxar's sales strategy
Collaborates Legal, Product and Sales Ops to optimize the Quote to Cash Process
Remove bottlenecks from Sales processes and drive process improvements
Document and train on best practices and assist enablement when necessary
Advise on system improvements and develop a quoting process with the SFDC development team that meets Maxar's needs for quoting.
What you can bring:
Worked with large complex contracts
Highly organized, customer-focused, innovative and strong attention to details
Experience in CPQ, quoting and, Billing and revenue recognition and ability to partner with Sales to advise in these areas
Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
Minimum Requirements:
1 to 3 years of sales operations experience
1 to 3 years in a customer and/or service facing role
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of Maxar's products and pricing and the internal ordering systems
Good understanding of the CPQ process
Experience with Salesforce.com architecture and objects
Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidateโs unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$93,000.00 - $155,000.00 annually.
