Hourly: $18.00-$24.00/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Receiving Specialist. This position will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording shipments of goods and materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the receiving process. This position collaborates with and supports the departments of production, supply chain, IT, and finance through Inventory department processes and policies.  

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials.
  • Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and completeness.  
  • Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Document and record received items into the inventory system.  
  • Organize and store received items in designated locations within the stockroom.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks or containers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area.  
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and inventory finance, to resolve issues.
  • Understand and utilize Company internal inventory process for stock location.  
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Cross training into Inventory Control responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.  
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and overtime, if needed.
