Job description

We are seeking a Senior Program Controls Analyst to support the Program Controls team. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication, analytical and collaborative skills who enjoys working with cross-functional teams in the Finance, Engineering and the Program Management community.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive performance throughout the entire program lifecycle while working hand-in-hand with program management.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support proposal teams by developing and analyzing cost inputs, pricing proposal inputs and  creating compliant proposal submittals
  • Create and maintain program budgets and forecasts utilizing earned value management
  • Monitor program financial data on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Develop and maintain monthly forecasts, prepare variance analysis as needed
  • Prepare internal and external customer financial reports
  • Prepare and present quarterly estimates-at-completion (EAC’s)
  • Ensure compliance with all required corporate, department and government policies and regulations
  • Support Program Management by providing recurring and ad hoc project reporting and analyses

 Education/Qualifications

  • Minimum of BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required
  • Deltek Costpoint / SAP experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high degree of flexibility
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to lead and resolve daily issues
  • Knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, CAS, and SOX guidelines
  • Ability to communicate clear and concise objectives to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

Pay Range:  Colorado pay range:  $106,000 to $115,000.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
