Working in the People Team

The People team is at the heart of making sure all of our employees have a fantastic employee experience and that Open Cosmos remains a Great Place to Work!

We provide support to the business through the whole employee life cycle focusing on keeping the OC team highly engaged and attracting high calibre people to our open roles.

What will you be doing?

This is a broad role that enables you to take the lead in the operational aspects of the full employee life cycle whilst contributing to our global people strategy.

You will be supporting the set up of our new subsidiary in Greece so ensuring we have a strong recruiting presence whilst also taking an active role in hiring and on-boarding, ensuring everyone has a great experience from the moment they see our job advert, right through the process of hiring.

You'll also be responsible for ensuring our policies are friendly to the local employment landscape, and keeping us legal and ethical in that respect! This will also include proposing and implementing a benefits package for the team in Greece.

There is certainly a lot to get stuck into longer term, keeping the employment experience at Open Cosmos excellent, ensuring our employees are engaged and our employer brand attracting and retaining the top talent!

What you need to be successful:

• You’ll be communicating a lot, so be confident in articulating yourself well particularly to candidates and employees at all levels!

• You’ll have a good appreciation of best practice within the HR profession and how to apply this in a company trying to scale

• You’ll have good practical knowledge of Greek employment law

• You’ll need a strong eye for detail
• You’ll have good comprehension of HRIS, previous access to Bamboo would be beneficial
