Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems is looking for an Integration & Test Electrical Engineering Manager 3 for our Gilbert, AZ facility.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Provide leadership, guidance, accountability Staffing, support and workload forecasting to all AI&T Electrical Engineering team’s
  • Support Electrical Ground Support Engineering team and responsible for creating a dedicated Electrical RF I&T team
  • Maintains department records, Awards (Bravo, Quarterly Awards, and Team Awards), PMP rankings, staff meetings, recruiting events, training, 1 on 1’s, and formal performance evaluations.
  • Supports program tiger teams, NCR processes, RCCA investigations, deep dives, CAB’s, pre-milestone reviews, program performance and business metrics. Serve on and participate in all program readiness and design reviews (MRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc..)
  • Manage Electrical Engineering indirect and capital budgets
  • Define, develop, execute, and improve department training plans, training content, employee training tracking, and mentorship processes.
  • Professional development, Career Goal planning and mentoring for direct reports
  • Supporting Functional Homeroom initiatives and projects, which includes but is not limited to process improvements, event response teams, corrective and preventive action implementation, safety initiatives, and associated business activities/processes.
  • Cross functional inter-division and cross division process updates, initiatives, and Community of Practice collaboration efforts.
  • Support & facilitate employee engagement activities

Basic Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering Degree or STEM discipline
  • 12 years minimum Aerospace industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience leading and implementing significant cross-functional projects/process improvements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in either Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering or Systems Engineering Discipline
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and technical presentation experience
  • This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain and hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or STEM discipline
  • 15 years combined experience managing a Technical Team in Electrical Engineering or Test Engineering
  • Knowledge of Functional Homeroom processes (e.g., Staffing, Processes, Metrics, Training)
  • Experience providing technical product support to a customer or a business.
  • Experienced in all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle.
  • Experience in I&T for Satellite products
  • Experience in Project Management
  • High proficiency in problem solving.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Skilled at providing presentation briefings to all levels of the business
  • Support Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) and/or DE&IB initiatives    

Salary Range: $141,900.00 - $212,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
