As a Construction Project Controls Coordinator, you will supervise, coordinate, and manage all construction project documentation in the division. Duties include tracking/monitoring schedules, budgets, and project risks with the respective regulatory agencies, compiling supporting documents, updating, and maintaining reports, preserving files, communicating with partners/stakeholders, officials/regulatory agencies, and Facilities Engineering/Construction teams, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the project controls plan and associated procedures
- Implement and maintain the project schedule(s), including resource loading, critical path analysis, and progress monitoring
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial forecasts
- Monitor and manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunities
- Ensure accurate and timely project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, cost reports, and risk registers
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and procedures, including safety and security requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting
- Knowledge of construction safety and security requirements and regulations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in project management software and tools, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel
- Ensure company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to
- Responsible for the oversight and management of all administrative functions and reporting (i.e. document control, correspondence, scheduling, quantity reporting, record keeping, cash flow, billings, cost and change management, etc.)
- Acts as a liaison between all home office departments and the field
- Responsible for providing direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions
- Responsible for monitoring project cost for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment as work progresses and taking necessary measures to control cost and productivity
- Maintain a project schedule with sufficient detail and resource loading and update monthly
- Responsible for forecasting cost and revenue for the project
- Aid in the development of work plans and construction means and methods as required
- Review subcontracts before issue
- Manage subcontract requirements and performance and resolve issues
- Manage the change management process on the project, including tracking and reporting of change events
- Identify and highlight early warning signals, and prompt timely corrective actions to avoid project delays and financial loss
- Understand and ensure that projects meet contract compliance with Owner/Agencies and governmental requirements including contract laws, FAR, NASA, and Space Florida
- Manage risk and opportunity reporting for the project
- Provide support and training for the project management team with project control issues
Skills & Abilities:
- Computer proficiency and the ability to adapt to innovations and processes
- Broad understanding of the aerospace industry, preferred
- Strong written, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong contract and project financial knowledge a must
- Knowledge of risk management fundamentals
- Functions effectively as part of a team
- Ability to develop or maintain relationships with clients

Education and/or Experience
- Associate degree in construction management, Project Management, or related field, but experience may be considered instead of workforce
- 5 years of heavy construction experience including client coordination, finance, scheduling, cost control, contract administration, and construction/engineering resolution
