Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst (level 2) to work in our Roy, UT location. Candiate will be primarily responsible for maintaining compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). This is a full-time position in support of the Sentinel program.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Supporting a fast-paced, high-profile, program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Conduct security education classes and security audits.
  • Assist with Media Issuance, Accountability, and Destruction or serve as a Data Transfer Agent.
  • Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility.
  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on action(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
  • Submit, review, and verify Visit Requests through queries to government security databases and systems.
  • Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures.
  • Perform the duties of a Top-Secret Control Officer (TSCO) as required.
  • Manage and maintain access control, including UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS).
  • Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance.
  • Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of related security experience. In lieu of a degree, an additional four years of related security experience may be considered.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and currently hold and be able to maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program.
  • Organized and efficient at time management.
  • Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience
  • Must be detail-oriented, have meticulous record-keeping, and will be responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases such as SIMS.
  • Must have CDSE Facility Security Officer certification.
  • Must have administrative, security education, and other security-related experience.

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of related security experience. In lieu of a degree, an additional four years of related security experience may be considered.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with government security compliance inspections.
  • Personnel and Program Security Experience.
  • Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas.
  • Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs).
  • Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications.
  • Experience with Lenel, NISS, DISS, and/or Lenel.

Salary Range: $62,200.00 - $93,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
