Your Mission  

This is an exciting opportunity to join Isar Aerospace in a key role. You will work closely with finance team in Germany, Sweden and Norway, and yet have an independent role in this exciting new space business. Isar Norway and Isar Sweden will gradually insource more of our accounting activities.  

As the responsible accountant you will ensure that accounting processes are running smoothly in both Norway and Sweden, and together with BDO secure that one time month/year end closing are done in a timely and accurate manner.  

More specifically, you will:  

  • Manage accounts receivable and payable: Overseeing the entire lifecycle of invoices and payments
  • Coordinate payment transactions and bank activities: Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
  • Support cost control and invoice approvals: Collaborate with managers to control expenses and handle invoice approvals
  • Maintain accurate asset records: Perform asset accounting, reconcile balance sheets, and manage intercompany accounts
  • Prepare financial and regulatory reports: Compile tax and other legally required reports
  • Generate financial statements: Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for both Sweden and Norway
  • Optimize accounting processes: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization measures
  • Provide data-driven insights to management: Support managers by translating accounting data into actionable insights

Who You Are:

  • Completed vocational training and further education as a management accountant or hold a relevant degree with a focus on accounting and tax
  • Possess strong accounting knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in SAP accounting software
  • Demonstrate an analytical and independent work style
  • Reliable and detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Confident user of MS Office applications
  • Open to new experiences and eager to learn continuously
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and possess strong communication skills
  • Fluent in Norwegian or Swedish, depending on the specific location
  • Possess good written and spoken English language skills
