Pixxel is a space data company building a health monitor for our planet. We are deploying a constellation of some of the world's most advanced earth imaging satellites in lower earth orbit and an analytics platform (on the ground) with tools that enable easy application of this data across many sectors. Our fully deployed constellation will be capable of beaming down daily imagery of any place on Earth. This role will contribute to Assembly Integration and testing satellite systems software for Pixxel's high throughput space-based hyperspectral cameras.

Responsibilities:


  1. As a part of Pixxel’s AIT group, you will be responsible for assembly, integration, testing and validation of the spacecraft systems software. 
  2. You’ll develop and execute comprehensive system test plans, perform analysis, and document outcomes. You'll play a pivotal role in recording and categorizing defects, while also summarizing test results for clear communication.
  3. You’ll investigate and analyze defects, reproducing scenarios using ground-based rigs to aid Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Develop and implement tests to address issues effectively.
  4. You’ll create, validate, and manage automated test scripts based on system requirements, driving efficiency and accuracy in testing procedures.


Basic Qualification:


  1. BE/BTech or ME/MTech/MSc Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
  2. 5+ years Experience working hands-on with projects that involve assembly, integration and testing of highly critical and complex systems such as spacecrafts, satellite systems etc.
  3. Certification from organizations like ISRO or ISTQB®


Skills/Requirements:


  1. Experience in reading and understanding datasheets, technical reports, wiring diagrams, schematics and test plans is a must.
  2. Strong understanding and experience in Avionics Systems, result analysis, and multi-system testing.
  3. Strong understanding of test campaigns and ability to quickly and accurately document test reports and results.
  4. Scripting proficiency in python
  5. Strong written and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a proven track record as a team player
