Senior Harness Engineer

We are looking for an Harness and Power Engineer, the candidate will be engaged in the following activities:

• Definition of DC Harness Requirements Specification (guidelines for MAIT activities)
• Maintenance of DVCM to DC Harness Requirements Specification
• Maintenance of voltage drop analysis (for power harness sizing)
• Definition of Wiring Lists in terms of logical/physical interconnections, wires, bundles and data entry in the DC Harness Database
• Definition of Electrical Parts List including types and quantities of DC connectors, back-shells, cables and data entry in the DC Harness Database
• 3d routing of harness bundles and relative rules
• Power subsystem architectural definition and sizing
• Definition of power subsystem specification and lower level specs (e.g. solar array, power control unit, batteries)
• Maintenance of DVCM to power subsystem specification
• Perform energy analyses and simulations
• Support AIT for integration and/or power subsystem testing
• Technical management of suppliers

DESIGN SW TOOLS

• CHS Siemens (for wiring list, electrical parts list, wiring diagrams). A training shall be necessary to learn the tool.
• Excel (for voltage drop analysis)
• Catia V 5.6 or higher
• Enovia PLM
• Matlab Simulink
• ORCAD Pspice

REQUIRED SKILLS & CAPABILITIES

• Electrical/electronic background
• Mechanical background
• DOORS tool (if not, a training shall be put in place)
• Standard Office SW tools
• English (base or intermediate)
• Availability to travels
