Job description
a.i. solutions is looking for highly motivated digital media summer intern to support the NASA Launch Services Program (LSP) at Kennedy Space Center. The team member will be assigned to a position in the ELVIS 3 Program Integration Office (PIO) where they will be supporting our NASA customer in creating internal and external marketing and communications products that showcase the NASA LSP mission. The roles and responsibilities cover a range of digital media specialties including audio, video, and graphic design. The successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission and work to continually exceed the expectations of our customers.
This program runs from May 20th through August 16th, 2024.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform video production/editing such as multi-cam interviews, presentations, and graphic-heavy informational videos.
- This includes setting up and breaking down recording equipment; checking recording equipment for framing, composition, and lighting and making appropriate adjustments; organizing and editing video files into final products; collecting and incorporating images and graphics into video edits; creating stylistic intros/outros to video edits.
- Perform audio production/editing such as voiceover recordings and interviews.
- This includes setting up and breaking down recording equipment; testing recording equipment for volume, tone, and clarity and making appropriate adjustments; organizing and editing audio files into final products.
- Assist with graphic design such as logos, event flyers, and presentations.
- This includes creating rough drafts of design ideas based on project outlines; updating in-work graphics and presentations based on feedback; turning rough draft design ideas into finalized digital graphics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- In pursuit of a college degree in public relations, marketing, communications, digital communications, or related disciplines
- Enrolled full time for Fall 2024
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Desired Background:
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
- Able to present/upload a personal demo reel upon request.
- Ability to quickly connect in-person and in writing, and actively listen and observe the needs, values, or opinions of others.
- Demonstrated leadership accomplishments academically and personally.
- Proactive in identifying and addressing challenges to include innovations that result in positive organizational impact.
- Well-organized, creative, and detail oriented.
