Description:Please note, the work schedule for this role is Thursday through Sunday (1st Shift).

As a Receiving Inspection Quality Inspector Sr you will perform the following:

Inspects mechanical final assembly installations of spacecraft, launch vehicles, rocket launchers, radar/communication assembles, and aircraft such as fuselage, wings, flaps, landing gears, and tail assemblies.

Inspects systems such as hydraulic, pneumatic, oil, heat, and brakes.

Visually and physically inspects electrical installations.

Rechecks work after adjustment or repair.

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.

Must have effective written and communication skills, be able to work independently/self motivated and demonstrate attention to detail.

This position requires obtaining Secret Security Clearance (No clearance required to start).
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to interpret product specifications, drawings/blueprints
- Able to use calibrated inspection equipment to validate dimensions or features
- Basic Computer/MS Office skills/look up specifications/military standards
- High School degree or equivalent
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software
- VECAMS experience
- Inspection/QA experience
- GD&T experience
- Experience with inspecting the fabrication of cable and harnesses (IPC, NASA and or equivalent certification)
- Experience working in aerospace, spacecraft or missile production
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
