Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for you to join our team as an Associate Test Engineer for the Huntsville Manufacturing Center, Located in Madison, AL

Job Duties:

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate Engineer Test: 0-1 Years with bachelor’s degree; or high school diploma or GED and 3 years applicable experience

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Ability to communicate clearly using an active voice
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Ability to work within a team in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience analyzing test results and creating and following technical documents

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Windows/Linux/Cisco certification (i.e., Linux+, MSCE, CCNA) or experience
  • Security+ certification
  • Experience with power systems
  • Experience in cable design or manufacturing
  • Experience writing scripts
  • Knowledge of IBCS systems

Salary Range: $62,000.00 - $93,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
