Position Overview:
AMERGINT Technologies, an ARKA Group Company, is seeking software engineers who are passionate about working closely with customers to solve difficult mission-critical challenges. Responsibilities:
- Work with a group designing software for satellite communication systems
- Designing, coding, integrating, configuring, and testing software.
- Collaborate with other disciplines including electrical engineering, firmware, and test.
- Use your skills in Python and C++, message protocol interpretation, real time processing, test script development and use of agile processes working under minimal supervision
- Conduct automated and manual testing of applications controlling integrated hardware and peripheral equipment while supporting/enhancing existing software products as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- College graduate with a Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field
- 2+ years of experience PYTHON development
- 2+ years of experience C++ development
- 2+ years of experience with the Linux Operating system
- Experience with version control tools such as SVN, GIT
- Experience with real time systems
- Experience with telemetry and satellite communications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree a plus
- Experience with Software Defined Radios is a plus
- Experience with the use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, and digital multi-meters is a plus
- Familiarity with PCM telemetry
Pay Range: Colorado pay range: $88,000 - $100,000.
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

This position is based out of ARKA’s Colorado Springs, CO campus. If you like city life, but also enjoy the great outdoors, Colorado Springs is the place for you.
