This role will offer you the following daily challenges:



• Perform as the Contracts Manager of competitive, international commercial, and governmental pursuits.
• Support a portfolio of new business captures (commercial and government) and existing commercial and FAR/DFARS based contracts.
• Duties will include RFP analysis, proposal preparation, maintaining accurate and complete contractual records.
• Work with domestic and international customers.
• Identify risks and contract issues and effectively address them in a timely manner.
• Exercise initiative, participate in strategy development, and work in an independent manner.
• Collaborate with Space and Corporate support functions.
• Work directly with multiple customers developing critical relationships on various contracts (CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, T&M & FFP).
• Support all internal and external customer reviews.
• Serve as consultant to management and communicate with personnel outside the organization on major matters, including explanation and interpretation of positions, policies, plans, and objectives.
• Prepare and present briefings to management and customers.
• Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Understands and implements Lockheed Martin Corporate and Space local policies and procedures.
• Develop and apply advanced concepts, techniques, standards, and solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education or relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated experience with FAR/DFARS based contracts or cost type or fixed price arrangements or commercial.
• Prior experience analyzing contract terms and risks to mitigate financial impacts.
Desired Skills:
• Creative contracting experiences in contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to interface at senior levels of management both within the company and as the external company representative with our customer(s) representing contracts or program issues professionally and clearly.
• Candidate should be a self-starter, requiring little to no direct supervision, and has the ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts.
• Experience working with virtual teams, including upper management.
• Excellent at networking and building relationships.
• NCMA and/or IACCM certification is highly desired.
• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $107,400 - $205,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
