QSR Area Manager

a.i. solutions is seeking a driven individual who will support the Mission Support Operating Unit, specifically those supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) mission and quality assurance on the TEAMS Next Contract.  This position as Area Manager will provide management and leadership responsibilities to their assigned employees and support the ai solutions corporate functions for QSR. 

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of employees assigned to support MDA/QS Core customer tasks on TEAMS Next QMA contract. 
• Perform a.i. solutions manager responsibilities for assigned employees.
• First line of communication with employees and perform supervisor duties for those employees including situation awareness, HR interface, and business systems (UKG) input, as needed.
• Meet with the Program Manager (PM) and Operations Manager (OM) to understand the expectations and guidance associated with the responsibilities of an Area Manager
• Assist operations managers with on-boarding activities, such as completing on-boarding tasks, coordinate with stakeholder for establishing MDA accounts and equipment, assisting new employee in issuance of their MDA Common Access Card, MDA badge, and equipment 
• May assist Operations Manager with candidate interviews
• Responsible for initial expectations (30-, 60-, 90-day initial feedback), quarterly feedback, and Annual Performance Evaluations of assigned employees
• Provides regular feedback of performance to employees
• Nomination of employees for recognition, rewards, and appreciations
• Implement telephone calls/phone tree for health and status checks of employees as needed, such as situations due to emergency weather, base closures, accidents, or wellness
• Function as a member of the Huntsville Office Leadership Team to assist with events (employee appreciation, community outreach, employee engagement activities, etc.)
• Timecard approver for assigned employees
• Complete HR Manager Training

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current a.i. solutions employee supporting MDA/QSR on the TEAMS Next contract.

Desired Background:

• Managing and leading teams on customer delivery type contracts
