At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
As part of a unique and highly skilled team, you’ll participate in building the road to space. You will join the Engines Finance team and partner with stakeholders in engineering, procurement, supply chain, and test operations to contribute to the growth and success of Blue Origin’s BE-3U engine. In this hands-on role, you will drive performance improvement and predictability. We are seeking a proactive, detail- and service-oriented analyst with excellent financial skills, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and handles ambiguity with confidence.

Present reporting at functional management reviews to ensure business leaders are apprised of program financial health and KPIs.
- Work side by side with BE-3U Development stakeholders to strengthen and streamline development finance reporting processes and systems. Identify gaps, propose, and drive improvements by developing automated applications for data aggregation and reporting to drive engine unit-cost reductions.
- Support forecasting of key performance indicators (KPIs), including spending and resource requirements, such as headcount, capital, and operating expenses. Compile, analyze, and interpret financial reports that indicate trends, variances, risks, and opportunities associated with operational spending, capital investment, and inventories.
- Partner with other finance team members in special projects that support management decision-making, such as capital expenditure, inventory, and what-if analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other highly analytical field
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience, including preparing annual and multi-year plans, month-end close activities, forecasting and variance analysis, and preparing ad-hoc financial reports and models.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of underlying business processes and the impact of financial decisions
- Experience helping business leaders meet financial targets and deliver results
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
- Experience with Tableau preferred
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
