Key Responsibilities

As the Pressure System Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Design and develop pressure systems to meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct detailed engineering analyses to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of the pressurization system throughout the mission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including propulsion, electrical, and software engineers, to integrate pressure regulation systems into the spacecraft.
  • Perform simulations and modelling to predict and optimize the performance of pressure regulators under different operating conditions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed pressure regulation designs, considering factors such as functional/operational conditions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source components for pressure regulation systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
  • Lead experimental testing and validation of pressurization architectures and components. Perform data analysis, and performance verification, and identify areas for improvement.

What we would love to see from you

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the design and development of pressure regulation systems or related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools for simulation and modelling (e.g. ANSYS, Ecosim,…).
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python or C/C++
  • Experience with test stand/prototype design, operation, analysis, and validation.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
