Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations, the Director, Investor Relations and FP&A (“Dir, IR / FP&A”) owns the analyses and externally facing materials for Redwire’s quarterly earnings calls, investor events, and other cross-functional projects focused on articulating Redwire’s Story. The Dir, IR / FP&A will also assist in managing relationships with investors, banks, outside advisors, and analysts, as well as support the Financial Planning & Analysis function.
The ideal candidate is a business expert with in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and best investor relations practices, and must possess strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills, prior experience in public company investor relations, equity research, investment banking, and/or consulting, and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse group of senior leaders. In addition, this candidate must also be familiar with corporate governance policies and regulations to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the earnings process, including analyzing quarterly performance, drafting earnings scripts, shareholder letters and press releases, and preparation of Q&A
- Provide insights to Redwire’s executive team by staying close to trends and developments impacting the capital markets, Space industry, and overall competitive landscape
- Organize and manage IR events, including investor/industry conferences, non-deal roadshows, and investor calls, by preparing briefings and overseeing event planning
- Manage quarterly conference call responsibilities including earnings slides, executive script assistance, press release drafting sessions, financial modeling and conference call Q&A preparation and transcript approval
- Track sell-side analyst coverage including estimates, ratings, reports, and other relevant data
- Maintain Redwire’s externally facing IR website, ensuring that the site contains current presentation and event notifications
- Lead investor relations workstreams on other relevant projects such as major customer wins, financial transactions, and SEC filings
- Assist in producing presentations such as earnings summaries, shareholder feedback and IR engagement summaries for senior leadership and the Board
- Coordinate with investment banks and other institutions as directed by the Sr. VP FP&A and IR to facilitate financing and cash management functions
- Assist with Company’s annual budget, monthly management reports, quarterly reports to the company’s board of directors, and other ad-hoc analyses as required
- Assist in the hiring, developing, and managing a high-functioning department that is collaborative and delivers a high-quality decision support
- Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends, and associated commentary to the Leadership team
- Assist as directed in M&A process from the due diligence, through valuation, negotiation, and the integration stages.
- Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Perform and/or assist in other tasks as directed by Sr. VP FP&A and IR
- Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 50%, sometimes on limited notice, required
Ideal Experience:
- BA/BS plus MBA, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, Strategy, and /or Accounting
- 10+ years of quantitative financial experience
- Excellent financial modeling experience and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in, regulations and policies around Regulation FD and the control of material, non-public information
- Experience with Financial Planning and Analysis
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Strong written and verbal communication skills as required for press releases, earnings call scripts and presentations
- Exceptional analytical / problem solving skills
- Self-starter requiring minimal direction
- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
- Demonstrated ability to influence others up, down, and across the organization through effective verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
