Job description

Your Mission

  • Negotiation with external suppliers of goods and services to secure advantageous terms with a win-win approach, both at a technical and commercial level
  • Collaboration and discussion with other internal departments to ensure clarity of the technical specifications and expectations of the company
  • Creation and follow up of purchase orders according to company needs
  • Monitoring of delivery schedule and due date PO to ensure on time arrival of goods
  • Assessment and management of supplier performance, assessment of delivery risks and initiation of continuous improvement programs
  • Responsible for arranging logistics selections with nominated carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders

Who you are and what you have

  • Apprenticeship, Degree in Engineering, Business or any related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in direct procurement, ideally within the aerospace or automotive industries
  • Experience in any of the following categories would be a plus: CFRP materials and structures, electronic products, fluid systems products
  • Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
  • Commercially and financially aware
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluent in German (B2)
  • Fluent in English (C1)
