What You’ll Do:
The HR People Relations is in charge of the management of the perimeter of Italy and Germany. The position is based in Torino. The firm counts … employees on three sites (two in Torino & one in Sardinia). A minimum of three days in the office is mandatory.
For this Geographies he/she closely works with Administration, Payroll Management, Office Management, the HR BPs and is acting as a focal point for the local managers and the People Relations Director France, Germany & Italy based in the Headquarter.
Your main missions will be:
- Implementation of new Human Resources strategies & processes in compliance with the HR BP and global group guidelines
- Executing on the ground the new policies, strategies and reorganisation as per the guidelines defined and guiding the managers in the execution
- Be the internal point of reference in Labour law and manage legal issues and opportunities (presence in front of Court)
- Manage the relationship with the Italian Unions (agreements, discussions, approval)
- Solve local employee relations issues in coordination with global HR BPs and People
- Support Employee & Labour Relations: provide accurate and timely advice on staff collectives related issues,
- Identify trends and challenges, predict and mitigate risks, develop and execute solution-focused strategies and programs.
- Collaborate: Build constructive relationships with critical stakeholders to share information and influence change
- Problem Solve: Work independently with minimal supervision, in ambiguous situations, and persevere over internal and external barriers to drive resolutions in a client driven sense
- Management of the legal issues and opportunities with the pool of external labour lawyer
- Implement local internal communication in accordance with the guidelines provided by the global Head of Internal Communication
- Implementing the HR processes towards a Data Oriented approach identifying gaps and opportunities
- Supporting the CSR projects related at international level (Diversity & Inclusion, Welfare with GPTW, Sustainability, etc.)
- Implement global learning and development plan for employees including by collecting local subsidies schemes
- Design and implement engagement initiatives that maintain positive workplace environments also in coordination with HR BPs and Global Culture Workstream
- Manage local office management team
What it Takes:
- Master’s degree in human resources or related field
- At least 5/7 years’ experience in HR in a plant or a firm with international environment
- Fluent English, spoken and written (French is a plus)
- Experience in management of employee relations and Italian labour law (and at international level as a plus)
- Experience with Unions
- Knowledge of the main steps of HR payroll and administration processes
- Experience of context of change and reorganisation
- Experience in costs control and reporting (Excel use)
- Excellent and assertive verbal and written communication skills
- Active capability to listen
- Ability to build relationships of trust with various stakeholders locally and internationally within the Group (Global HR colleagues, managers, employees, external partners and providers)
- Problem solving, attention to the details, team working attitude and flexibility, confidentiality
- Data driven mindset
