Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a highly motivated Experienced or Senior Level Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join the elite Rapid Space Capabilities (RSC) Operations Team in Kent, WA. You will be responsible for Proprietary Space Operations supporting developmental manufacturing/production. Serve a pivotal role in providing manufacturing knowledge to support the Phantom Works (PW) Space Organization. Be responsible for data analysis supporting the program as well as applying operational and lean acumen to deliver critical national defense products on-time with the upmost quality.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Provide RSC Operations capabilities/functional support & guidance to Kent Space Center and Phantom Works Space Organization.
Duties focused on support to RSC Proprietary Space (Kent) Operations. Responsibilities include:
- Support of manufacturing capacity to support RSC and PW Space needs including an efficient Small Satellite capability standup and production readiness
- Support the implementation of lean strategies for improving operations and processes within RSC and PW Space
- Support production execution to support all RSC and PW Space needs
- Bring enterprise and S&L best practices such as Start Right to RSC and PW Space
- Proactively identify issues that impede business success, provide and implement solutions
- Supports and facilitates complex and high visibility process improvement efforts
- Ability to lead teams, and provide input and mentorship to the Operations Team and RSC Organization
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:
This position requires an active U.S. Top-Secret Security Clearance. (A U.S. Top-Secret Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Minimum one year of experience working within Special Access Programs.
- Minimum three years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace.
- Minimum three years of experience in complex test planning, development, and execution.
- Minimum five years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Aviation related field.
- Preferred to be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Preferred one-year experience working in Space Domain.
- Preferred three years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00
Summary Pay Range for Senior Level: $100,300.00 - $135,700.00
