Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an energetic team focused Mid-Level or Experienced Project Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Kent, WA. This position provides an opportunity to work with an experienced, interdisciplinary team to meet challenging requirements.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Mid-Level or Experienced Project Management Specialist

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to RSC (Rapid Space Capability) Leadership

  • Provides oversight to RSC security, IT and cyber projects while working with program managers to serve as the voice of the program

  • Works with all key stakeholders within Space and Mission Systems (SMS) Rapid Space Capability (RSC) and Phantom Works (PW) Space to define and understand network, cyber, IT and engineering requirements and ensure that they are understood and documented by all

  • Works with key stakeholders to prioritize work across programs and networks in support of the RSC and PW-Space business

  • Coordinates with customers and key stakeholders on IT and cyber security project expectations

  • Develops prioritization plan and schedule to execute networking tasks in support of RSC and PW-Space portfolio

  • Ensures that assigned projects identify resources needed and provide appropriate tracking and reporting per project plan

  • Captures and records lessons learned from previous efforts as new ones are stood up

  • Supports Facility certification and ATOs as needed

  • Provides oversight to additional programs within the SMS portfolio 

  • Responsible for any actions coming from SMS monthly meetings i.e BPR, Strategy, Business Development

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years’ experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects

  • Experience in building strong business relationships and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • 1+ years’ experience with the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) security processes

  • Experience/knowledge of DoD Special Access Program processes, customers, and stakeholders

  • Experience working with an information assurance assessment (a.k.a. cyber security assessment) of a classified software or hardware system in the last 12 months

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

Typical Education & Experience:

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Experienced (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for mid-level: USD $93,500 – $126,500

Summary pay range for senior level: USD $115,600 – $156,400
