DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with functional leaders and key stakeholders to implement workforce development creating curriculum maps based on job profiles to best meet business needs and objectives.
- Ability to influence without authority, but through leadership, negotiation, persuasion, motivation, and engagement at all organizational levels.
- Design and implement an ongoing and engaging manager development program, including training and workshops that promote manager effectiveness.
- Perform Train-the-Trainer sessions on how to effectively conduct On-the-Job Training
- Operationalize training/education activities to align with established site goals for safety, quality, and employee retention.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with third-party providers, industry groups and other external partners and leverage relationships to enhance learning or creative solutions offered to employees.
- Develop and interpret success metrics for programs and leverage data to drive decisions and improvements around development programs and learning activities.
- Provide instructional development support to SMEs to ensure the development/availability of training materials such as: on-the-job, face-to-face, eLearning, and skill and, knowledge assessments, in alignment with the designated standards.
- Adhere to project plans and deadlines in alignment with the overall development strategy.
- Plan, organize, and direct site wide training/re-training and education activities for site team members.
- Support activities critical to building the company’s Learning strategy and programs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Proven success developing curriculum maps and associated learning objectives based on program learning strategy.
- Ability to explain complex processes and employee development milestones in a clear manner.
- Experience in each stage of employee and leadership development programs.
- Solid understanding of how people learn, the science of adult learning, a keen eye for design and aesthetics, and the creative and technical skills to produce engaging training products.
- Ability to work in a group as well as independently with meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of evaluation methods to reach Kirkpatrick's evaluation levels.
- Competency interpreting performance data and statistics in development programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years’ experience instructional design, and/or curriculum mapping
Preferred Experience:
- Experience using the full cycle of ADDIE model for training content development purposes.
- Prior experience in Workday
- Prior experience administering Learning Management System
Essential Functions
Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
Requirements
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Physical Requirements
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
