Description
Stoke Space Technologies is seeking a General Helper within our Kent facilities. We look to this person to grow with us while assisting with a multitude of tasks requiring attention to detail and working closely with Facilities and EHS leaders and experienced manufacturing technicians. This is an opportunity to learn new skills in facility build out and maintenance, EHS-related support tasks and disciplines, and/or other manufacturing disciplines at an up-and-coming aerospace manufacturing company. This Entry Level position will receive dedicated mentorship from highly experienced personnel and 1:1 training on a multitude of industrial processes in a safe and friendly working environment. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
This position is for a 12-week contractual period. Full-time employment will be considered at the conclusion of this 12-week period.

Qualifications
- HS Diploma (or equivalent) completed or in-progress
- 18+ years old
- Safety focused with safe working habits
- Knowledge in basic carpentry, electric power tools and hand tools
- Familiar with use of personal computers
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lead
- Ability to follow
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in using equipment such as forklift, scissor lift, & ladders
Hourly rate: $20-$24/hour
