We are looking for a Propulsion System Engineer at our Massy site, to support the rapid growth.
Attached to the Head of Technology, the Propulsion System Engineer will work closely with the Product Development Technical Leader and be responsible of the following activities:
📌 Provide technical support during the different phases encountered by the spaceware™ products during a customer project, integration operation in satellites, in-orbit operations.
📌 Be the primary technical point of contact for the project, AIT, production teams with respect to our spaceware™ products.
📌 Support the preparation of subsystem design justification and qualification documentation for major design reviews throughout the product life cycle.
📌 Provide regular reporting of technical progress to the Product Development Technical Lead and the whole Technology team.
📌 Provide technical input to future spaceware™ developments thanks to the customers’ feedback and exchange with spaceware™ Product manager.
📌 Participate/Oversee the propulsion module manufacture and AIT activities.
📌 Manage any anomalies or non-conformances occurring throughout the project life cycle at equipment or subsystem level with support from product engineers and technical experts and present technical status/progress in non-conformance reviews with the customer.
📌 Actively participate at internal non-conformance review boards.
📌 Ensure technical consistency between our various spaceware™ product developments.
Preferred Experience 💁♀️
Exotrail is looking for a systems engineer with hands-on experience in all the phases of a space project. Typically, the candidate worked on small satellites projects and oversaw the development, assembly and tests of the satellite from end-to-end. A minimum experience of 2 years is required for this position, but juniors with relevant experience can apply.

📌 Knowledge of embedded software and communication protocol (SPI, R485, CAN)
📌 Good communication skills in English, written and spoken.

📌 Curious, proactive in your activities and a source of proposals on the subjects which you are responsible of.
📌 Motivated, able to adapt quickly within a young and very ambitious team, and you have shown a real interest in the field of space.
