Who You Are: 

Inside the Eutelsat Connectivity Business Unit, you would join the Service Engineering (SEN) Team acting as the single point of contact for all the activities leading to the creation, change and evolution of services and features related to satellite internet connectivity solutions. From feasibility studies to complex connectivity projects, SEN Team leads the qualification, the design and ultimately the implementation of cutting-edge solutions using the most advanced satellite technologies available on the market.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will work closely to technical functions inside the Eutelsat Technical Department as well as to Sales and Pre-sales teams, leading coordination activities and supporting the team to assure that business objectives are met consistently both for internal and external customer requirements. Your technical background combined to your superior communication skills will be the foundation to lead multi-discipline, highly technical project initiatives.

Successful candidates will have a strong program management and system design background. As well as be detail oriented, self-driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will coordinate programs in the satellite internet connectivity domain, designing technical solutions to manage service implementation requests, providing both internal and external customers with technical analysis results, detailed planning, and cost analysis.
  • You will lead complex technical projects, identifying solutions in collaboration with both technical, commercial and customer support teams.
  • You will apply, implement, and continuously improve the Demand Management Process to address demand requests from both internal and external customers.
  • You will support Sales and Pre-sales functions with specific and qualified technical expertise and effective communication skills.
  • You will facilitate the handover of responsibilities and knowledge transfer to technical and operational teams involved in the implementation phase of the customer services.

 

What it Takes: 

  • Telecommunications Engineering degree, Bachelor Degree or equivalent Diploma in Information Technology with a specialization in Telecommunications
  • Good knowledge of Telecommunication and IT systems with particular focus on satellite and networking systems   
  • Excellent communication skills with good experience in communicating with a wide range of partners (Customers, Stakeholders, Senior Leadership, Business Line representatives)
  • Proficiency level in written and oral English (C1/C2)
  • 3+ years of technical product or Program Management experience working directly with engineering, software development and/or software integration team including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Good experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Good Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

 

What We’d Love: 

  • Familiarity with Requirements Analysis and Solution Design best practices, with a focus on Agile Methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of BSS/OSS and NMS/EMS systems
  • Basic knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million euros businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Where You’ll Be: Turin, Italy (with some availability to travel to Paris HQ at Issy-Les-Moulineaux and to Eutelsat teleports when needed).
